Shine Play Therapy is a form of counselling/psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults who suffer emotional difficulties, social difficulties, behaviour problems, delayed play/language development, are underperforming, bereavement/loss, seperated/divorced parents, communication problems, autistic spectrum, withdrawn, abuse trauma, nightmares, bullied/bullies, fostering/adoption, anxiety/stress/phobias, relationship problems, doesn't play, illness/disabled, low self-esteem, truancy, exclusion from school.
Shine Play Therapy can help improve concentration, problem solving and greater self-control, ability to express emotion in appropriate ways, communication skills and emotional literacy, ability to manage anxiety and feelings of sadness, social skills and relationships, self-esteem confidence and self acceptance, coping mechanisms and resiliance, ability to self soothe.
In school it can help improve participation in group work, communication with other, listening skills, concentration, reduces exclusions, improves attendance rates, helps meets school objectives.
It can also help improve relationships with parents and siblings at home as well as obedience and behaviour. In addition it can benefit the community and society by reducing crime rate and truancy and reduces mental health problems.
