Cruse provides somewhere to turn to when someone dies, offering one to one support, advice and information to adults and to children aged 4-18. There are 7 area offices throughout Northern Ireland where these services are offered. It is a voluntary organisation supported by donations and there is no direct charge for services.
Young Cruse, supported by the Big Lottery Fund, offers youth-friendly, individualised support bereaved children 4-18, as well as online bereavement support to young people through ww.hopeagain.org.uk.
In addition, the Cruse Get Together Project, in cooperation with Corrymeela Community, provides bereaved families with an opportunity to build resilience, reduce isolation and increase confidence through its activity days and residentials. It also offers community education to statutory and voluntary groups on childhood and family bereavement.
